Squirrels

Navigator


Navigator is another one of our basic cadences. This cadence features several simple rhythms and is also very repetitive. Navigator is a great one for younger groups or can be used as an easy second cadence for groups that are capable of playing a Level 2 Cadence.

Time Travel

ProJam is considered to be a difficult Level 1 Cadence. If you are debating betwen selecting a Level 1 or 2 Cadence for your drumline, we recommend that you choose ProJam. This is a great cadence that's simple but won't put more advanced players to sleep.

You Do It is a great cadence that is easy to march to. Like many of the other Level 2 Cadences, You Do It is designed to sound much more complex than it actually is. Mirage


Mirage is one of the more challenging level 2 cadences offered on this website. It has several rhythms that are considered to be more complex than those in the other level 2 cadences above. However, if your drumline is not quite ready to press into the level 3 cadences, Mirage is a great piece that will help as a transition into the more difficult cadences. Comet

Beat

The Street
Warrior

T-Rex

Supernova


Supernova is a cadence that combines simplicity with fun and will be a great cadence to march to, play in the stands, or jam to in the lot. It introduces tenor players to the fifth "spot drum" and has a beafy bass drum beat that will keep crowds pumped the entire way through. This is an excellent cadence for football season.

Go Time

Preload

Category 5


Category 5 is the cadence that pushes everything to the next level. This cadence is full of beefy rudiment and rhythm sections, but still maintains lengthy groovey parts without getting too technical. This cadence is great for the advanced high school line. The mounted cymbal part is optional, but we highly recommend it.

Latrodectus

Ink


INK is a great cadence for those trying to transition from Level 2 cadences to Level 3 cadences. It's difficulty level is just enough to consider it a Level 3 cadence but doesn't push the player too hard. It has some tough sections in it, but those sections are followed by easier sections allowing you to play a relatively simple cadence that also has a few beefy parts.

V2 Rocket is a slightly modified version of Rocket. This version is believed to be slightly more "stable". This cadence is also referred to as Rocket v2.0.

Charger


Charger is a unique cadence that is heavily based around sixtuplets. This is considered to be a very difficult Leve 3 cadence and could just as easily be considered an "easier" Leve 4 cadence. This one has some serious muscle!

Have Blue


Have Blue is a cadence that is developed on a more groovy/loopy pattern and is similar to "jam" style cadences played by many major universities. This cadence is not easy, but keeps a very stable beat and is incredibly easy to march to.

YOYOYO is considered to be a dark cadence. This cadence is slightly more fast paced than standard cadences and offers a wide variety of groove sections that have a very mysterious sound. This is an excellent cadence if you are wanting to play something that isn't considered traditional.

Vanishing Point


Vanishing Point is a cadnece that has a nice pace to it and "realistically" falls in between level 2 and 3 difficulty levels. It flows well and has some very fun sections in it without being too repetitive. While not being long, Vanishing Point is a nice cadence than can quickly be added to your drumline's playlist for the year. For a medium/advanced drumline this one can be learned in no time.

Smokestack is a great cadence to play when marching to or from the stadium. There are sections that indicate "custom vocal chants". These sections are to be vocalized by the entire drumline (or band). This one gets everyone involved.

Bass



Face the Bass is a bass drum cadence designed specifically for getting on and/or off of the field or performance area. Bass drum cadences are powerful and do not spoil the sound of the entire drumline prior to the performance. Although this cadence has a 12/8 feel to it, it is written in 4/4 using tuplets.

Pirate's Cove is a cadence that offers a difficulty level that is somewhere between 4 and 5. Straight
Sevens


Straight Sevens is very similar to the Level 1 Straight Eights exercise. The only difference is that where Straight Eights plays eight notes per hand, Straight Sevens plays seven notes per hand. Spotlight is a fun groove that all drummers will enjoy. This allows the drumline to play a measure, then an individual player has a solo. This sequence continues until all drumline members have performed their own solo. This groove is a great crowd entertainer!
